Traveling through the forests of South India since a young age has encouraged me to develop an avid interest in wildlife and conservation. With a background in Environmental Science and Design, I have worked on several diverse projects such as designing wilderness gardens, studying captive Asian elephants and conducting research on the impact of the iron ore mining industry in Karnataka. With a passion for art, design and photography I firmly believe that they are powerful channels I can draw on to raise awareness. Presently, I am working along with Sangeetha Kadur on illustrations of Hummingbirds, for a book on the ‘Hummingbirds of the World’.
